I can NOT believe I have gone my entire life and haven't introduced Baby to you all!!! She is my most precious friend. I sleep with her and look for her if she's not around. I love to give her kisses and swing her by her pig-tails.
I am also sitting in my new chair....well, new to me. It used to be Daddy's when he was little. It may look a little worn out, but it hasn't seen the likes of me yet...mmmuuuaaahaahhahhh...
Last week, I got to visit Grandma and Grandpa Hopper. I always have fun there, because they give me tastes of new foods that Mommy and Daddy don't let me have. Today, I tasted ro-tel cheese dip, and RC cola...oh, and a tortilla chip until I broke a big piece off.
It was a fun day!
Daddy went on a trip with my Pappa this weekend, so I got to stay the night at his house! Oh boy, there was so much for me to get into. Check out this whole shelf of toys for me to play with!! Pappa must have known I was coming and set it out all for me. 
So, I've become more of a Daddy's Girl over the past couple weeks. Anytime I see my Daddy, I just gotta have him. I give him as many kisses and hugs as I can....I'm preparing him for when I can start asking him for stuff. WHOA!....Check out the picture below....Is that a picture of me?!....Nope, it's my Daddy. I think he has my eyes.
Here's Daddy and Pappa heading out on their trip. I sure missed him a whole lot. I even told Mommy about it. Here's how the conversation went Saturday night:
Arrive home; looking for daddy -
Me - "Da Da?...Da Da?"
Mommy - "Daddy's not home sweat pea, but we'll go see him tomorrow." "
Me - "Yesss!"
Mommy - "Sounded like you just said yes, are you excited to see Daddy?"
Me - "My Da Da"
Mommy - "That's right, your Da Da....Uh, did we just have an actual conversation?"
This is Maddie's 'new thing'. She scrunches up and breathes out her nose loudly. It's very amusing to both mom and dad. In fact, once she started doing it, they spent 10-15 minutes straight trying to get her to do it over and over until they got a picture of it.
Oh Yeah, this ball plays the greatest classics ever!....Mary Had a Little Lamb, London Bridges Falling Down...It's Awesome...I could boogy all night...in fact...I think I will
Put ya hands up...wha?...Put ya hands up...wha?....oh, yea
I've only got half the 'rocker' hand gesture, but I'm workin' on the other half.

Abby and I have found that our favorite place to play is in my room. Here, we aren't as closely watched under Mom's supervision, so we can get into things she might frown upon.
First, we start at the mirror. We love to wave at ourselves and watch ourselves wave back....very entertaining for two 8 month olds. Here Abby, I'll help you up.
Typically, when one of us finds something interesting or new to get into, the other follows. Here we head for something to climb up.
Abby chooses the 'not so stable' rocking chair, and I choose the chest with a lot of 'no-no's' on it. (Mom, my p.j. bottoms are falling off...could you take care of that...little embarrassing...thanks!)
We have the greatest time playing. My favorite thing to do is kiss Abby while she is getting her diaper changed. Abby looks a little frightened...wonder why?
So, Mommy has started to give me some finger foods. Today, it is peas and squash...yummy!!
I'm not sure what I am thinking here, but Mommy thought it was a pretty silly face...so, there you have it. 
Mmmauuhhmmm...mmuahhmmaaghmmuahmma...
This sure is a lot of work to do this myself...Mommy, why don't you just feed me with a spoon?
I like my toys and all, don't get me wrong...but...sheesh...ugh....how did I get myself stuck, and how do I get out?!?!
I mean, seriously... ooh, look, a little red toy....hmmm
